Regan Booty

I’m Regan Booty — a midfielder currently playing for Gateshead FC. I started out at Huddersfield Town, came through the youth system there, and captained the U23s before stepping into the senior game.

Since then, I’ve played over 200 senior games for clubs like Aldershot Town, Notts County, and Maidstone United. I’ve experienced a lot: the jump from academy to men’s football, injuries, setbacks, competition for places, and the mental side of proving yourself week in, week out. In 2023, I had the honour of representing England C — something that reminded me how far I’ve come, and how much I still love the game. Ive managed to win a League title with Maidstone united & lifted the FA Trophy at Wembley. A Career highlight is also scoring at Wembley!

Now I want to give something back — especially to players who are serious about improving but maybe feel stuck, unsure, or overlooked. My goal is to help you build confidence, sharpen your awareness on the pitch, and stay calm under pressure — because I know how hard it is to keep believing in yourself when things aren’t going to plan.
